What we do

Generator connections

Storms, ice and wind take down power lines across Niagara every year. A properly connected generator keeps your furnace, sump pump, fridge and other essentials running.

Plugging a generator into the house without the right equipment can backfeed the grid and put utility workers in danger. We install transfer switches or panel interlocks that make connecting a generator safe and simple.

  • Portable generator inlets
  • Panel interlock kits
  • Transfer switches
  • Standby generator wiring
  • Critical load panels
  • Sump pump and furnace circuits
  • Commercial backup power
  • ESA permit and inspection

Why it matters

Ready before the next outage.

The best time to set up a generator connection is before you need it.

Safe connection

An interlock or transfer switch keeps your generator isolated from the grid.

Essentials first

We help you choose the circuits that matter most, like the furnace, sump pump and fridge.

Simple to use

A clearly labelled inlet and switch, so anyone in the house can switch over in a storm.

All questions
Can I plug my generator into a wall outlet?

No. Backfeeding through an outlet is dangerous for you and for utility workers on the lines. A transfer switch or interlock with a proper inlet is the safe way to connect a generator.

What can my generator run?

It depends on the size of the generator. We help you choose which circuits matter most, such as the furnace, sump pump, fridge and some lights, and set up the connection around them.

Do you wire standby generators?

Yes. We handle the electrical side of standby generators, including the transfer switch and the connection to your panel.
